had to go back for my dental appt in the afternoon. and i waited for like an hour half, by the time i saw the doctor, it was already 5.45pm. *faint* the thing is, i wasnt even late for my appointment lor, in fact i arrived 10 mins early. was called in but the doctor went MIA. he was just next door actually, i understand that he had sth cropped up. but he didnt even have the decency to come over to tell me that he will be late. or the decency to apologise. super sian one, it's either he will go MIA, or i have to wait donkey ages for him to call my number. waited and waited and waited. got super bored. so i tried to sleep in btw. another doctor was in the cubicle with me, typing his report. saw some really gross surgery photos. almost wanted to cancel the appointment and come back another day. anw, he was obviously in a hurry throughout the whole thing. think the consultation took like 10 mins or so? and the way he tried to put on the splint for me, it's like so slipshod. plus he didnt even bother to rinse the splint after putting it in my mouth. so gross. but am doing pretty well. think the jaw opening already double the one prior to surgery, it's the max i can reach so far le. but he didnt measure the mandible movement and some other stuff. haiya he's damn slack one lar. i suppose it's more or less okay already. just that i still feel kinda tight and sore, esp on the right side. cannot eat food like apple yet. jaw will hurt if i chew too hard or open too wide. shall continue wearing the splint every night. hope it helps. anw, the next time im seeing him will be in july. yeah. unless my jaws get locked again. then i will have to come back. ok, think i grumbled too much. haha am not feeling very happy this past few weeks. actually i quite look forward to the dental appts for the past 3 months lar. give me an excuse to leave lectures early. hehe. am stuck in school since 8 in the morning, with 4 lectures back to back, no break in btw. and i will be writhing in my seat, getting bored to death by the lectures. couldnt been happier when i can leave like 15 mins early to go over to outram. yeah. Wednesday, March 26, 2008 the TA kept bombarding us with questions, and most of the time me and my lab partner were furiously flipping through the manual for answers. he was obviously irritated by our stupidity. hahaha. actually it's our fault since we didnt bother to read the lab manual before lab, cos both of us were rushing through our reports last night. but anw, we managed to finish everything before 12.30. think we were the earliest today, finally for once. yeah! Sunday, March 23, 2008 it's closed book somemore. but since it's only 4%... hur hur.. i will have even more incentive to procrastinate.. this is very bad.... Friday, March 21, 2008 my doctor is such a slacker, went MIA and got another guy to fit the splint for me. only popped by the cubicle once in a while to check. damn slack!! the fitting part was quite painful, plus the splint didnt fit very well. and the splint is so gross and uncomfortable. haiz guess will need some time to really get used to it every night. the poor doctor spent about an hour trying it to make it more fitting. drill the splint, insert the splint, open, bite, pull off the splint, drill, insert... repeat the same procedure for about an hour. he had to get someone to see his another patient for him because of me. anw my teeth were sore from all the pulling. and i almost felt asleep on the chair, had lesson from 8 in the morning! but he's quite nice lar, kept apologising when i said it's painful, and that today's session dragged until past 5.30. and i have to go back next week again. :( Tuesday, March 18, 2008 It's 1.30am right now and im still rushing through the pharmacy project. have to finish up a lab report by tml, finally finish typing out the calculations just now it's really hell, i cant imagine doing the lab report without samples. finish up physics stuff and lastly, study for another spectro test this week. yea looking forward to thurs, will be collecting my splint, suppose to be today but my doctor has to perform surgeries, oh wells. and it's been almost 3 weeks since my last visit, time flies. fri is a holiday. yays!
